For a new raised garden bed use approximately 60% topsoil or native soil 30% compost and 10% potting mix or 50% topsoil 50% compost and add mulch on top. Before placing your raised garden beds in their permanent location be sure to remove any grass or weeds from the area and loosen native soil to a depth of 6 to 10 inches to improve drainage and moisture retention.

Ken is the owner. ask for the mix for raised garden beds. By the truckload or burlap sacks. Sacks are 4 cubic feet and weigh about 100lbs. Cost is 18 per sack. We need about 4 sacks and richer compost soil on top. Ask Able what to use and he will recommend.
